Looking for affordable automotive restorations in the Nashville and surrounding area? Then you’ve found a new automotive home here at the Poverty Hill Garage. Although we love cars of all types, we specialize in the restoration and repair of classic, antique and older cars, particularly those made before 1980.

Among the services we offer are:

• Keeping your old car reliable and on the road with general repairs. We’re very familiar with the peculiarities of older cars and what they need to remain enjoyable.
• Paint and body work. When it’s time to make your classic look as good as it runs, we’re here with the tools and expertise necessary.
• Engine and transmission rebuilds and replacements. Classic cars are even better when they’re reliable and, if your car smokes, has excessive fluid leaks, or it exhibits other signs or age or use, we’ll make it run right.
• Suspension work. Vibrations, wandering, bottoming out, etc. are all indications your classic car’s suspension needs attention. We’re familiar with old car suspensions and can make your classic drive much better than it already does.
• Upholstery work. A great looking and driving car is even better if the inside looks good, too. We can reupholster your seats, door panels, headliner, etc. and address chair spring and frame issues.
• Detailing and refurbishing. Whether your classic car is used regularly or stored for months at a time, its components can become weathered or show signs of use. We can repair and refurbish components, so get that engine compartment or suspension system looking the way it should - nice!
